I found a number that on another web site that said their number is 888-846-9590.  I have not gotten to a live person yet, but I think it might be worth a try.

The call center is open from 8am to 5pm...Guaranteed we are being scammed, to many people are having different problems with 360...The funny thing is people can not connect for different reasons. What does that tell you? People are thinking something is wrong with the ssl/ their computer and the whole while it is with 360, and there is no one to help, tell you there is aproblem they are working on or nothing. We are out of money and service.

I think I got the fix!!!  I called the number above, and got a real person after about 3 minutes.  We went to the control panel and checked all the Java (and J2SE) updates and all the new updates are BAD for 360share.  He said to delete all Java and J2SE updates, like enviroment 5 update 11, update 6, environment 6 update 1, from the computer.  KEEP ENVIRONMENT 5 UPDATE 10.  After uninstalling all the other, restart your computer. I haven't restarted yet, as I am unistalling it now, so I can't swear it will work, but this is the first thing they will check if you were to get a hold of them, so here you go.   Good luck.

OKAY....  So I posted the fix above, only a couple weeks ago, and now I have another problem...

Does anyone know the fix for when 360 does open, but DOES NOT connect?  It just keeps saying Starting Connection in the bottom left corner.  I'll try calling again, but I wanted to pose this question in case my call gets me nowhere this time (which wouldnt' surprise me).

Thanks,

Shadrak

Oh, and in response to Dunnnut.....Yes, the message when you call that number DOES INDEED make it sound like it's the wrong number, but it's correct.  So hang in there, put your phone on speakerphone, fix some lunch, and you'll likely get somebody after a while.

Good luck,

Shadrak

My list of fixes:

So I usually don't write things in these forums, but I figured that since 360 has been SOOOO disappointing to me, and obviously to everybody else, that I'd write some things to try to help everyone out..........

A couple weeks ago I could not open my 360 Share Pro program.  Nothing would happen when I clicked on the icon.  When I called them, at 888-846-9590 I was able to contact a real person within a few minutes.  He had me do the following (the same as I posted that day - from above)

"I think I got the fix!!! I was able to get it working and I download 1 song.  The day after, or so, I was still able to open the program, however, it would not contact and was stuck saying "Starting Connection" in the bottom left corner.  I called the same number, 888-846-9590, and reached somebody in about 5 minutes.  She asked me if I was using a virus protection software, which I told her was Mcafee.  She emailed me a guide for configuring my Mcafee (I asked her where I could find this information and she said there we can log into our member services to find this information).  But basically all she sent was directions for giving 360 Shar Pro full and Java updates full access through my firewall (now, if the firewall is the issue then you should be able to just shut it off, in theory, to bypass it and see if you can connect).  In your firewall configuration, click on New, or Add Allowed Program (depending on your firewall software).  Then go to, and double click on Program Files, 360 Share Pro, Gui, then click on 360share and click Open.  This will add that.  Then do the same process for Java:  Click Add, dbl click Program Files, Java, jre1.5.0_01, Bin, Click on Java then Open.  You must do this for Java for as many updates as you have in the Java folder, like jre1.5.0_02.

Now, having said all that, I still couldn't get connected at first.  I disabled my firewall and still no worky.  I then just started messing around:  I enabled my firewall, and opened the security all the way up.  I started looking for my java updater so I could update to the latest, then go in and add them as allowed programs in my firewall, but in the process of finding the updater......I connected.  Now I have a Turbo-charged connection, or so it says.  I am currently downloading some songs...Yay!!!

I hope some of this helps most of you...

Good luck,

Shadrak.
