| I have been using 360share pro for 2 years with no problems. Today I clicked on my 306share pro desktop icon and nothing happened. After reading on this forum I did 2 things. I'm not sure which one worked or maybe it was both but here are the paths I took in simple terms for people like me. Path 1 : click start > click control panel > click windows firwall icon > click exceptions tab > click add program button > when list populates click 360share pro > click ok button. You will see 360share pro added to your list of firewall exception programs. Path 2: click start > click add or remove programs icon > scroll down and click Java update 2 > click remove button. It sounds like different things are working for different people, so maybe it just depends on what your computer has been up to or maybe 360 just needs a jump start sometimes. Hope this helps someone. I know I am grateful for those that posted. It helped me a lot. I use my 360share pro all the time and I would be so upset without it and all the stuff I've downloaded. Thank you for this thread.

Ran into the same problem as many on this forum. I got a new laptop so I needed to install 360 Share Pro for the first time. I'm running Windows XP on a Dell Inspiron 6400. I ran the Install.exe for 360 Share Pro and got installed successfully but When I attempted to run 360Share.exe the Welcome screen would pop up but nothing would happen after that. I read through this forum & tried several of the suggestions. One of which was to delete all the Java updates via Control Panel --> Add/Remove Programs. After doing that when I executed 360Share.exe it opened successfully. However, when I tried to search nothing would come up. I'm running Norton 360 and when I disabled the firewall VOILA, SUCCESS!
So to all who took the time to post solutions, A HEARTY THANK YOU

| I had the same problem.Log into your account with them and reinstall 360 share pro from there.I did this and everything works fine now. PS Limewire uses the same system as 360 share pro, and has more users, so I use both.

| This is the long way to have to fix 360 every time it will not work, but it does work every time I have had an issue, and I have had 360 for over 2 years now. You will have to go to your control panel and uninstall 360 Sharepro, and then go to Java and uninstall all of its applications (make sure you get rid of ALL of the Java). Then go to the members page and reinstall it again. It has worked for me every time. Just make sure when you have Java updates, you dont run them. Or you may have to do this over and over to keep 360 running, as it uses Java 5.

| Zander, your username should be your email address you registered it with. Then click on "forgot password" and they will ask for your email address again. They will send you your password. This is what I had to do also (as I too have a lifetime membership). Try that and see if it works.

I am having the exact same problem when I try to sign in. The payment said lifetime and now my account is either closed or expired. I have also tried to get my password, because I forgot it. It has been 3 days and I have yet to recieve anything in my e-mail telling me what it is. Please help me if anyone can suggest how to solve this.

| I have tried all the advice given above. I have deleted my Java. I have turned off my firewall. I have turned somersaults, but I still cannot connect. This Company must know there is a problem but it is just taking our money and the problem remains. Any further help will be gratefully received

I had the same problem yesterday. Below is what I did to reactivate 360share pro
I UNLOCKED IT BY TYPING 360SHARE PRO ON THE INTERNET.
I HAD TO CLICK ON A LOT OF 360 SITES TO FIND ONE THAT SHOWED ME (MEMBER lOGIN)
I CLICKED ON A SITE LABELED, WELCOME TO 360 SHARE TO FIND WHAT I NEEDED.
I CLICKED MEMBER LOGIN AND THE SCREEN AFTER CLICKING CAME UP TO SELECT, I AGREE YOU
YOU THEN HAVE TO TYPE IN USER NAME AND PASSWORD THIS INFO IS WHAT YOU USED WHEN YOU SIGNED UP FOR 360 SHARE PRO.
I THEN SELECTED MY OPERATING SYTEM AND CLICKED DOWNLOAD
APPARENTLY A NEWER VERSION OF 360 IS INSTALLED. I COULD THEN DOWNLOAD SONGS.
LET ME KNOW IF THIS WORKS FOR YOU.
THIS IS A LOT BETTER THAT HAVING TO TRY AND GET INTO YOUR SETTING AND TRYING TO ELIMINATE SECURITY AND OTHER DOWNLOADS.
